The programme of the 6th Caucasus Mathematical Olympiad is already available on the official website.

The Olympiad will take place from March 12 to March 17.

These six days will let the participants experience a variety of positive emotions brought by traditional Southern hospitality, well-organized Olympiad, eventful programme and a true symbol of the Olympiad - the City Integral game.

The Opening Ceremony of the Olympiad will be hosted on March 12 at 18.00 at the Main Building of Adyghe State University.

Round I and Round II will take place on March 13 and March 14 accordingly. During the Olympiad rounds both Russian and foreign students (who are participating online) will be solving problems which will be analyzed later.

March 14 is going to be remembered for the traditional City Integral game. This year the game is dedicated to the 125th birth anniversary of a famous Soviet writer Evgeny Schwartz whose childhood and youth were spent in Maykop. The participants will follow one of the several routes solving math problems on their way and admiring important places in Schwarz’s life as well as Maykop’s urban atmosphere.

Every night will be filled with fun and entertaining activities where the participants can not only take part in music contests and listen to cozy guitar play by Sergei Dorichenko, but also learn real Adyghe dances which will help them feel closer to the culture and traditions of our Republic.

A tour to the foothills of the Western Caucasus awaits the participants on March 15. And right after it they can finally meet Andrei Raigorodsky and Alexei Savvateev who are going to give a talk about “Fun and interesting math”.
